Yoga

I started practicing yoga when I was eight years old at a Club Med in Martinique (I’ll show you the movie footage if you ask nicely). After several non-yogi years, I took it up again in adulthood and went on to become a 500-hour certified vinyasa flow teacher. I came to yoga for the physical exercise, but I’ve since come to appreciate its myriad emotional and spiritual benefits. In my classes, I place a strong emphasis on alignment and injury prevention. I hope to help my students create a peaceful inner space far from the wilds of Washington, D.C.
