Raffi Umanzor brings rhythm, power, and community to every class he teaches. With over a decade of experience, he has built a reputation for music-driven rides, high-intensity interval training, and Power Playground sessions that blend strength, endurance, and energy into something that feels as much like a celebration as a workout.

Annie Avendt brings the energy, grit, and heart of collegiate rowing to every class she teaches at MINT. A Washington, DC local now based in Adams Morgan, Annie grew up in Clarksburg, Maryland before heading to George Washington University, where she competed on the women’s rowing team for four years.

Those four years on the water shaped more than just her fitness. Rowing taught Annie tenacity, resilience, and mental toughness, and she is on a mission to pass those lessons on to every athlete who steps into her class. For Annie, rowing is the ultimate total-body workout and the purest team sport, and she wants you to feel that from your very first stroke.

Drawing on her collegiate athletics background, Annie brings the intensity and inclusivity of the erg room to every session at MINT. Whether you are chasing a fitness goal, looking to move and feel better, or just showing up to see what you are made of, Annie is in your corner.

Classes: MINTBox, Personal Boxing Coach

Enrique Flores is an active mixed martial arts fighter competing at both the featherweight (145) and bantamweight (135) divisions, and he brings every ounce of that real-world experience into the classes he teaches at MINT.

His athletic resume speaks for itself. Enrique has competed in numerous international freestyle wrestling competitions under the FILA International Wrestling Federation and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions under the IBJJF and U.S. Grappling. In 2016, he competed in the U.S. Open Men’s Freestyle Wrestling Competition in pursuit of a spot at the U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 10th in the country.

That drive to compete eventually became a drive to coach. Enrique holds a Boxing Coach Certification under USA Boxing, a license as an amateur boxer, and a FILA/USA Wrestling license as an international wrestler. He brings all of that expertise to his boxing and kickboxing classes at MINT, where his goal is simple: give everyone the experience of training like a real fighter, without ever having to step into the ring.

Classes: Power Playground HIIT, MINTRow, TRX Bootcamp, MINTCore

Braegan is one of the driving forces behind MINT. As a leader on the team, she does more than teach exceptional classes. She shapes the programming that defines the MINT experience, mentors fellow instructors, and sets the standard for what great fitness coaching looks like.

Her classes have a way of pulling people back, sometimes more than once in a single day. That kind of loyalty is not an accident. Braegan has a gift for creating workouts that feel fresh and purposeful, from creatively themed classes to fitness challenges that push the entire community forward.

When you step into Braegan’s class, expect to sweat. Her workouts are dynamic, athletic, and results-driven, designed to challenge you in ways that leave you feeling genuinely accomplished. She is not here to make it easy. She is here to help you push past your excuses and show up as a stronger, more powerful version of yourself.

The work does not get easier. You just get stronger.

Classes: Power Playground, Power Box, FLEX, Core, and Master Trainer

Myke Nicholson describes himself as an athletic artist, and once you experience his training style, that description makes perfect sense. He approaches fitness as a creative discipline, constantly finding new ways to challenge the body and mind while guiding clients toward victories that are uniquely their own.

A NESTA-certified personal trainer and TRX-certified instructor with almost 20 years of experience, Myke draws from a deep and diverse toolkit that spans weightlifting, calisthenics, strongman, and MMA. That breadth of expertise means no two sessions feel the same, and every client gets a training experience built around what they actually need.

Myke’s philosophy is simple but powerful: be a force amplifier. He is not here to overhaul your life overnight. He is here to help you get 1% better every single day, and to show you just how far that compounds over time.
