Meet our Instructors

Laura is one of the most credentialed instructors you will find. A 500-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher, she brings training in vinyasa yoga, prenatal and toddler yoga, barre, mat, and reformer work, and a Yoga of the Heart certificate earned through study with Nischala Joy Devi at the Kripalu Center, a program designed to adapt yoga for people living with heart disease, cancer, and other health challenges. She is also a NASM-certified personal trainer with Corrective Exercise and Senior Fitness Specialist certifications, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a trained Reiki practitioner through the Center for Integrative Medicine.
Laura’s classes reflect everything that breadth of experience has taught her. She has a particular passion for working with athletes who want to use yoga to prevent or recover from sports-related injuries, students managing stress, and those with special needs. She believes deeply in the body’s innate ability to heal itself, and she uses yoga as a vehicle to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Her classes weave in deep relaxation exercises to cultivate a calm mind and a steady heart, and she makes yoga philosophy accessible by encouraging students to carry their practice into everyday life. Laura’s goal is clear: leave every student sleeping better, moving more freely, and feeling more resilient with every class they take.

For Molly Heinsler, yoga is a practice of presence. She comes to the mat to cultivate mindfulness, build strength and flexibility, and carry that awareness into everyday life, and she teaches with that same intention.
Her approach is refreshingly straightforward: clear, alignment-based instruction paired with accessible yoga philosophy and an inspiring soundtrack. Whether you are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, Molly’s classes meet you where you are and encourage you to push to your intelligent edge, using your breath as your guide.
Expect a supportive, encouraging atmosphere where there is no pressure, only progress. Molly is grateful for the opportunity to help students move more mindfully, both on the mat and long after class ends.

Ally Perleoni is a certified RYT-200 Power Yoga instructor, trained under Mimi Rieger through an intensive 200-hour teacher training program. Her specialty is power flow vinyasa, and she brings a teaching style that is both fluid and deeply intentional.
Ally builds her classes around strong, alignment-focused flows where the transitions between poses are just as important as the poses themselves. She believes the real magic of yoga lives in those in-between moments, and she designs every sequence with that in mind. Her goal is to guide students toward the “moving meditation” state where breath, body, and movement become one.
What Ally loves most is the journey of a well-crafted sequence. She introduces new shapes gradually, layering them into familiar postures so students can explore their edge organically and with confidence. Whether you are deepening an existing practice or building a new one, Ally’s classes offer the kind of thoughtful challenge that leaves you feeling both strong and grounded.

Sally Tyler is a Pilates and yoga instructor who brings a uniquely real-world perspective to the studio. As an attorney, published author, and policy professional, she understands firsthand the challenge of carving out time for movement in a demanding schedule. Her 50-minute Pilates and yoga classes are designed with exactly that in mind: efficient, purposeful sessions that help you dig deep, meet your goals, and get on with your day.
DC is full of busy people, and Sally is one of them. That shared experience makes her classes feel less like an obligation and more like a reset.
Her favorite piece of fitness advice comes from the great Arthur Ashe: “Start where you are, do what you can.” It is a philosophy that shapes everything about how she teaches and who she welcomes into her classes.

Abby Horick brings over a decade of personal yoga practice experience to her teaching. After completing her teacher training in 2025, Abby has been sharing her passion for yoga throughout the Washington, DC community.
Abby’s teaching style is welcoming and accessible to practitioners of all levels. She specializes in anatomy-focused instruction, providing detailed cues that ensure students practice safely while getting the most out of each pose. Her classes blend physical practice with yoga philosophy, offering students a deeper, more holistic experience that extends beyond the mat.
Known for encouraging students to personalize their practice through modifications and variations, Abby creates an inclusive environment where everyone can explore yoga at their own pace. Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, Abby’s classes invite you to approach each session with an open mind and compassion for yourself.

Bridget Kelley has been teaching since 2023, bringing a 200-hour certification with a focus on Baptiste Power Yoga and a lifetime of athletic experience to every class she leads. Like many, Bridget always appreciated yoga for its physical benefits, but it was her practice during COVID that opened her up to something deeper, the grounding, meditative qualities that make yoga so much more than a workout.
That discovery shapes everything about how she teaches. Bridget’s Power and Vinyasa classes are designed to help students find a flow state where mind, body, and spirit come together in moving meditation. Her sequences are creative and set to upbeat playlists, guiding students toward the balance between strength and ease. She wants you to find your edge, physically and mentally, while still being kind to yourself along the way.
Community is central to Bridget’s teaching philosophy, rooted in the Baptiste tradition. She believes there is real energy in a room full of people practicing together, and she wants every student to feel inspired by the people around them rather than intimidated. Her classes are challenging, but always supportive.
Outside of MINT, Bridget works in healthcare communications and volunteers with DC Food Rescue. She is also an avid runner who has completed three marathons and loves being part of DC’s vibrant running community.

Natalie Petrulla (she/her) is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher who came to the mat the same way many of her students do: looking for stress relief and a good workout. What she found was something much deeper.
Over a decade of practice, Natalie discovered the transformative power of pranayama and traditional yoga philosophy, and that discovery reshaped how she teaches. Her vinyasa-style classes are designed as moving meditations, weaving together dynamic movement and intentional stillness to help students de-stress and build a genuine connection between breath, mind, and body.
Natalie’s classes are built for everyone, regardless of where you are in your yoga journey. She is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming space where every student can explore and cultivate a holistic practice that extends well beyond the mat.
