What we’re doing for our members and how you can help

During our forced closure, we have worked hard to offer substitute services for ALL members, including LIVE STREAMING WORKOUTS including Power Playground, Barre, Yoga, Stretch, FLEX strength, and more, plus other online resources. Please note that memberships stay active to include these services unless you initiate a change. As a locally founded and owned company, we ask that you carefully consider making any changes, as your membership is the lifeblood of MINT and supports many staff through this. If you are unable and need to freeze we understand, please reach out to Tina at accounting@mintdc.com; she will get you more information. Stay healthy, active, and engaged!

Below is an update on what we’re currently offering our members and ways you can help support if you’re in the position to do so. If you’d like to watch our video message please click here.

Virtual Classes are Now LIVE! 

All members, whether you have access to classes or not as part of your regular MINT membership you are eligible to take part in our virtual classes! All virtual classes will be hosted via Zoom. You do not incur an additional fee to use the basic level of Zoom. All you need to do is sign up for your desired class (don’t worry, there will be lots of space!) and pay attention to the class description for the Zoom login URL and password. If you’re not already familiar with Zoom we suggest that you download the app ahead of class to make sure you’re ready to go come class time. Check out our schedule for upcoming classes and sign up!

So sign up, grab your roommate and get ready to work out because we can’t wait to see your smiling faces. If you want to share your at-home workouts with us, tag us on social media and use #POWERthrough.

For at-home workouts you can do on your own time please check out our Facebook and Instagram pages. Our personal trainers and instructors have been kind enough to share quick workouts that can easily be done from the comfort of your own home.

Please Note:

  • Trainers don’t make quite as much as their regular rates on these, so please refrain from using it if you are already working with one of our trainers.  
  • We ask that you only use this if you are an active member and plan on staying an active member for at least the next three months.  This is on the honor system. 

If you enjoy your session and would like to continue with virtual training or nutrition, we are offering ‘at-cost’ packages; MINT does not make a profit on these: Trainer – 10 50 minute Sessions for $500 or 10 Express (25 minute) Sessions – $250 Master Trainer – 10 50 minute sessions for $600 or 10 Express (25 minute) Sessions – $350

Help Support Your Favorite Instructor, Trainer, and/or Front Desk Staffer with a Direct Contribution.

Due to the inevitable surge in membership leave of absences, our resources are temporarily greatly depleted. Many on our team are working intensely to continue to bring your value through our virtual offerings and we are able to support their pay through this. But most of the hourly staff is hurting. We’ve received a lot of inquiries asking how to help MINT through this, and we cannot possibly thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. Doing business in DC is VERY expensive – rent, taxes, utilities, and base salaries total more than $200,000 per month. If you consider pre-paying for your membership, training or really anything MINT related via a gift card, this will greatly help us at this time. You can apply the value anytime to anything at MINT.
