Small Group Training Series Descriptions
Beginner Pull Ups
- This 6-week small group training program is designed to help participants build the strength, technique, and confidence needed to complete one or more unassisted pull-ups. Through progressive overload, mobility work, and a structured plan tailored to all fitness levels, participants will develop the necessary pulling strength and movement mechanics.
Intermediate Pull Ups
- Take your upper-body strength to the next level with this focused, technique-driven 6-week intermediate pull-up series. Designed for participants who can already perform at least one solid pull-up (or several assisted reps), this series will focus on improving mechanics and body control in order to build consecutive pull-up reps. Each session will combine strength work, targeted mobility exercises, and structured pull-up practice.
- Goals for the class include building the strength and control needed to complete consecutive pull-ups without relying on momentum. Improving technique is needed to complete multiple reps in a row. Increasing pulling power and grip endurance. Strengthening the core and stabilizing muscles.
Push Up Strength Camp
- This 6-week SGT series will focus on the proper execution of a pushup.
- Clients will work through regressions and progressions that help strengthen and familiarize them with the movement of a pushup. Other exercises will be added to enhance the strength and mobility in the relevant areas. Proper form on all exercises will be closely monitored.
Lower Body Power Pull
- This 6-week challenge will work on strengthening the posterior chain with Barbells, Dumbbells, & Kettlebells. The involved athletes will practice lower body & full body exercises that promote Power, Strength, Hypertrophy through the hinge movement pattern.
Lower Body Power Push
- This 6-week SGT will focus on muscles in the lower body that are associated with pushing, including quads, glutes, and adductors. The squat and its numerous variations, which target the relevant muscles, are the primary focus of this series. The correct squat form is different for everyone, and this series will help each client find their ideal squat form.
- Clients will build lower body strength, learn how legs move, and how to structure a lower body workout.
Intro to Kettlebells
- A ground-zero approach to increasing one’s fitness with KettleBells. The MINT Athletic Community will train their entire bodies utilizing one of the oldest & unique styles of training-KettleBells! The benefits are vast, including: Increased total body strength, conditioning, power & mobility.
- In this 6-week course, members will work to perform a Kettlebell One Arm Snatch and a Kettlebell Turkish GetUp.
Journey into Power Yoga
- The six-week series guides members to start or deepen their power yoga practice. The first 5 classes will each focus on one of the pillars of Baptiste power yoga: ujjayi (breath), drishti (gaze), bandhas (core), tapas (heat), and vinyasa (flow), with the final class putting them all together for a deep and transformative flow.
- This series is unique in how it balances consistency with progression, as Baptiste yoga follows a similar sequence of poses each class, which allows you to build strength over time and see your progress, while tapping into a new theme every time you come to the mat.
- This is a series for all levels. However you arrive, you’ll be challenged physically and mentally, but you’ll leave stronger for it!
