As of June 2, our new Gateway security system has launched! This means the doors are locked and members gain access via face ID and/or smartphone app.

What if I walk up to the door and it doesn’t open automatically?

- If you have a form on file, the door should open, if it doesn’t there may be a tech glitch.
- If you haven’t’ completed it, please do ASAP at the front desk
- In either case, we can buzz you in, but for security and logistical reasons, buzz-in’s cannot be permanent
What info are you collecting, and is it secure?

- We are not collecting any more info than we’ve ever required for memberships, going back to opening day in 2006; name, email, agreeing to a few transparent terms, and a photograph.
- Our chosen security company offers the most robust modern digital security available, serving over 30 million users and over 55,000 commercial and government partners globally. They are a vetted, reputable partner of mindbodyonline, another global organization, and the software we have been using for over 10 years for member and billing information.
Do I checkin at the front desk also, like before?

- The Gateway system checks you in automatically; no need to checkin!
Will front desk attendance be decreased due to automated entrance?

- Front desk staffing and attendance does not change at all; as always expect a friendly helpful experience
- The majority of members have completed the quick access form and acknowledged the welcome message; your access should be seamless when you walk up to our doors. If you haven’t completed your form, or there’s a hiccup with access (it is technology after all), no worries, we can buzz you in, at which point completing your access form is required.
We will be working through system tweaks over the coming weeks; please be aware that for security and general logistical reasons, ‘buzzing-in’ cannot be permanent, everyone must complete the form.
